Board of Directors Approve Budget for New Year

[ATLANTA, GA], [June 1, 2023] ─ The Delta Phi Lambda Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering the women of Delta Phi Lambda Sorority through scholarships and grants, announced today that their Board of Directors has approved a budget for the upcoming year.

The budget, which was unanimously approved by the Board of Directors, will allow Delta Phi Lambda Foundation to further enhance their impact, having already awarded over $40,000 in scholarships and grants since 2010.

"We are thrilled to have this budget approved, which will enable us to continue our important work and expand our programs to better serve those in need," said Executive Director Lillie Madali. "By allocating resources where they are needed the most, we can make a difference in the lives of those we serve."

The budget includes funding for key initiatives, such as the Chapter Leadership Grant and the Member Support Grant. The Board of Directors also approved the creation of a new scholarship, funded by Sylvia Wang, an alumnae from the University of Connecticut.
